An interesting statistic

With all the posting that went on in the past few days I decided to check up on just HOW MANY posts were made. I found that on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of this month we had more posts on those days than any other three days since May of last year. So, that little ruckus the other day did breathe a little life back into the place, even it does turn out to be only momentary. By the way, the three day total was almost 700 posts.

Yeah well it's back to just me, you, and ABF again.

For the most part yes, but others have been showing up a bit more frequently to post which is in fact what we wanted.

I'd say a better test would be in the evening... not everyone can get on in midday, after all.

Well, I'm trying to post a little more often, as I agree that OB1 and GR had a point about us lurkers not posting enough.

Well, I made a religion thread once at PSX2C, and most all of them were atheists...

I think we only have two athiests here. We've got a quite a few religions and religious groups represented here so things can get pretty heated at times, as they have many times before, when the topic is religion. Nothing like a healthy, heated debate to get things going. :)

True, though (though in this case it was with GR's help). Most people just won't say it because they don't want to provoke him. :)

Anyway, I wouldn't have said it like that. It's not completely accurate (he is largely responsible, but the reactions of others is a factor as well) and just serves to further anger OB1...

People were already mad (on the inside) at OB1 and GR for posting "..." and ":erm:" as posts, and finally blew up when OB1 made a thread to contain his and GR's emoticon-like drawings. It turned into a war as GR said. You just missed it all lazy...

That's more accurate. But it continues with 'then OB1 blew up back at them', 'there was a lot of yelling back and forth', etc, etc... and as GR said we managed more posts than any other 3-day period in the last year. :)

I shouldn't have to bring up the fact that it was at least partialy due to a certain amount of...unrest...over one single thread, which did no harm to anyone. I really shouldn't.
