Google has now created an OS, that only runs 1 program... Google chrome.

What a piece of shit. If this becomes the new defacto standard for netbooks I'm going to be pissed, and looking for a shot gun.

Everyone else is basically saying this is "the future forever", because, well, we do EVERYTHING on the net, don't we?

At least loading this OS will be cheaper... then again if that's what you want, there's linux.

I don't think I'm ready to be permanently tethered by the hip to the internet. This new Google computer won't even turn on without internet. Like you said, people can get Linux if you wan't a cheap OS.
